Rented our vehicle for the trip from the airport - a brown 9 seater diesel van (as I'm the driver for the tour) and J-Me fired up the GPS. We drove through Prague showing the sights to my mother while catching up on family news and gossip.

AS we are driving thru Prague,we see this incredible artwork which they used many metal parts, gears, etc to weld together and it also has past which moves!

Making good time, we finally got stuck in a huge traffic jam outside of Milada Boleslov due to roadwork. Made it into Poland and our hotel in Jelenia Gora by 9:50pm.

The receptionist Anja kept the kitchen open for us and we ate peorigies and goulash stew that was absolutely fabulous, along with ice cold beer for Guy and wine for Mom. J-Me had delicious non gas water (called Still water).

Then we went up to our quaint 2 bedroom room (and I do mean up. We had to walk 2&1/2 flights of 

stairs to our rooms. Being so tired it felt like 5 flights to us)

and Guy had a second beer while we wound down and finally went to bed, exhausted.
