Our First yummy Breakfast in Poland

Confused about the date - my computer says May 6, Friday, but I think its Saturday 7th already.  Time to head down for breakfast! Can't wait, breakfasts in Polish hotels are amazing.

Guy ran down to the van with all our luggage, preparing to leave after breakfast.

After breakfast, we walked to the city square where Guy had noticed a faire was setting up earlier. So we decide to go see some of the quaint old town.

And this very unusual sculpture piece was applied to the facade of the building in the late 1960's, using stilts and iron metal.

Then we met two nice men dressed in period costume.

And then we walked down a very quiet street and came across a Catholic church. We could hear music being played inside. Upon opening the door, they were having saturday mass. We stayed a few minutes to listen to the beautiful singing.

As we drive along our day talking, catching up for the past several years (as Guy has not seen his Mom for quite some time now), we see many farms and old houses. We came across a rest stop with a tavern and thought we would stop for lunch. (notice the eyes for windows)

After driving all day, we arrive at our next hotel and hurry back down for a lighter dinner and nightcaps. This hotel had an elevator (yeah! as we were just to tired to walk up 2 flights tonight)
