We had a little bit of trouble finding the right roads, but we finally found it. It had a very cute nearby village.
Saw a cute little dwelling cut into the side of a hill, hoped a troll or something would pop its head out.
When we got to the castle, we had to wait a bit for the next tour. So we went to the castle restaurant and had coffee & cappucino. The castle had many steps up and up and then down and down and of course then back up, up and up again. Mom handled them well.
Outside wall and entrance of castle.
Inside the walls of the castle.
Front entrance fireplace.
I think this guy missed breakfast.
Only thing missing…. no dungeon.
Drove back to Jablonec and packed suitcases in preparation for check out in the morning, then went to a pub steakhouse for dinner. Great food.
We have been spoiled with the great prices here in the mountains….. when we arrive in Prague the prices will triple, or more. $1 beer will become $5.
Castles are another interesting of mine & I really loved the pictures you took of this castle....think I was born centuries too late cause I can definitely see myself living here...thank you
